Recon Drone: Advanced Support Unit for Special Operations
The 3D printable Recon Drone is frequently utilized as a support unit in various special operations. Thanks to its modern anti-gravity units and ultra-silent pulse engines, it moves quietly above the surface.

Advanced Surveillance Capabilities
Equipped with the latest sensors and cameras, it can provide valuable information about terrain and enemies, even peering into buildings and beneath the surface.

Defensive Capabilities
Although the drone isn’t specifically designed for battles, it still possesses some firepower with its two bottom-mounted LMGs to defend itself and offer fire support to squads.

Printing Information for the Recon Drone
At gamesART, I provide STL files for you to print at home or through a 3D printing service. This way, you only need to print the parts you want, saving on materials and reducing your environmental impact.
FDM 3D Printing
- The model is optimized for FDM printing, tested on my Prusa MK3s and MK4s with a 0.4mm nozzle at 0.2mm resolution for optimal results.
- For intricate parts, I recommend my X1C, printed with PLA and ultra fine settings to capture finer details.
- While most models do not require supports, any parts that do will be clearly noted in the included instructions.
Resin 3D Printing
- Tested on my Elegoo Mars 5 Ultra SLA printer, my models are designed to be resin-friendly and include supported and unsupported versions.
- I include the Lychee Slicer file settings for easy support adjustments.
